  • Introduce viruses, malware, trojans, or any other harmful code

4. Services and Engagement Terms

The service pages on this Website describe the categories of work we perform, including Revenue Cycle Management, credentialing, medical licensing, workers compensation billing, auto injury billing, durable medical equipment billing, document management, healthcare software consultation, and specialty billing services.

Website content is provided for general information and marketing purposes only. It is not an offer, a quote, or a contract.

Any actual engagement between you and EZE Medical Billing Services is governed by a separate written service agreement, along with a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) where Protected Health Information is involved. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed service agreement, the signed service agreement takes precedence for the services covered by it.

Pricing, service scope, turnaround times, reporting frequency, and termination terms are defined in that service agreement and may vary based on practice size, specialty, claim volume, and payer mix.

5. Free Consultation and Billing Audit

We offer a free consultation and a free billing audit to prospective clients. Please note:

  • Submitting a consultation or audit request does not create a client relationship or any contractual obligation on either side.
  • Any observations, estimates, benchmarks, or recovery projections shared during a consultation are preliminary and based on the limited information provided at that stage.
  • A free audit does not constitute a legal, compliance, tax, or coding certification opinion.
  • We may decline to work with any practice at our discretion.

6. Accuracy of Information You Provide

You are responsible for ensuring that any information you submit to us is accurate, current, and complete. If we begin providing services, you remain responsible for the accuracy of clinical documentation, provider credentials, payer contracts, patient demographics, and any data supplied to us or entered into your practice management system.

We are not liable for claim denials, delays, underpayments, or compliance issues that result from incorrect, incomplete, or late information provided by you or your staff, or from documentation errors made at the point of care.

7. No Guarantee of Results

Performance figures shown on this Website, including clean claim rate, first pass acceptance rate, denial recovery rate, and reimbursement timelines, reflect our historical averages across accounts. They are illustrative and do not constitute a promise, warranty, or guarantee of the results your practice will achieve.

Actual outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including payer behaviour, plan policies, coding accuracy at the provider level, contract rates, credentialing status, patient eligibility, and regulatory changes.

8. Not Legal, Medical, or Financial Advice

Content published on this Website, including blogs, case studies, FAQs, and service pages, is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice, medical advice, coding certification, tax advice, or financial advice. You should consult a qualified attorney, certified coder, or financial professional before acting on any information found here.

9. Compliance and Confidentiality

We operate as a Business Associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) when handling Protected Health Information for our clients. We sign a Business Associate Agreement with every client, apply the minimum necessary standard, use encrypted transmission and secure storage, and train our workforce on HIPAA obligations.

Clients are responsible for maintaining their own compliance obligations as covered entities, including patient consent, notices of privacy practices, clinical documentation standards, and any credentialing or licensure requirements applicable to their practice.

Full details of how we handle information are set out in our Privacy Policy at https://ezemedbills.com/privacy-policy/, which forms part of these Terms.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising out of the Website shall not exceed one hundred United States dollars. Liability connected to contracted services is governed by the limitation clause in the applicable signed service agreement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EZE Medical Billing Services and its personnel from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Website, or your violation of any law or third party right.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website at any time, without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms or engaged in conduct that is harmful to us, our clients, or other users. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law survive termination.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico and applicable federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico.

19. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Website after any change means you accept the revised Terms.
